1. Who we are

Maker is built and operated by Sunny Joshi, an individual, based at WeWork, Marol, Mumbai 400072, India. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

2. What we collect

We keep this deliberately minimal. The only personal information we collect is your email address.

We do not collect, store, or sell your projects, code, files, content, or any other personal data beyond your email. Maker operates on your own machine and through your own connected services; your work stays yours.

3. Why we collect it

Your email is used only to make the app better. Specifically:

• to track app usage at a high level;
• to identify power users so we can reach out for feedback, ideas, or early looks at what's coming; and
• to occasionally contact you about Maker itself.

That's the whole point of collecting it — the betterment of the app. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your email or share it for marketing. It may be processed by basic tools we use to run and improve the app (for example, analytics or email tooling), strictly for the purposes above. We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Third-party services

Maker connects to third-party tools and AI services (including your own Claude account) to do its work. Those services handle data under their own privacy policies, which are outside our control. Please review their terms to understand how they handle your information.

6. Data retention

We keep your email for as long as it's useful for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold, but no method of storage or transmission is fully secure. As Maker is still in development, we provide no guarantee of security and accept no liability for unauthorised access beyond what the law requires.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to access or delete your email, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us. We'll do our best to honour reasonable requests.

9. Changes to this policy

Maker is in active development, so this policy may change over time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
